FARIDABAD ALL SET TO GET A METROPOLITAN BODY FOR INTEGRATED GROWTH
The Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority has been decided to be set up on the same lines as of Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority to ensure an integrated infrastructure development along with urban amenities to people living in Faridabad.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khatter made the announcement at the recent press meet stating Faridabad to be the second largest city in Haryana after Gurugram and hence it needs an integrated development in terms of present infrastructure. An announcement was also made regarding HUDA to float nine different sectors which will include one exclusively for defence personnel in various towns.
Talking more in detail regarding these sectors, the officials disclosed that three sectors would be floated in Mahendergarh and one in Bhiwani, Yamunanagar, Sirsa, Taouru, Pinjore and Jhajjar each. The exclusive sector for defence personnel is planned to be floated in Jhajjar. There is also a plan to float 30,000 ploys across 47 residential sectors of Haryana.
Besides that, there is also a plan to auction sites for petrol pumps and CNG filling stations in Haryana.
Considering the scope of biasness during the allotment of petrol pump sites, the government has decided to take a different course of action this time by calling for bids to avoid accusations of nepotism.
Having said that, these development plans for Haryana certainly come as a good news for people residing in these parts. Faridabad residents of course have a reason to rejoice since a better infrastructure planning with Gurugram as benchmark is indeed a good news. People can now plan to invest in luxury projects in Faridabad without worrying about lack of facilities.
